Alison has helped companies to refine business strategies, realign costs and weather transitions over the course of many decades of experience in a variety of industries.
She served as CAO of a mid-sized financial services company before working as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Later, she held CEO positions with a magazine publisher and a residential real estate development company. She has applied her expertise in startup, expansion, and turnaround situations and conducted transformational work with clients in food-related businesses, fashion retailing, light manufacturing, publishing, and hospitality, among other sectors.
During several months in 2020 she helped direct process engineering for a major supplier of PPE to New York City's hospital system. Her extensive volunteer experience has included service as a board officer for nonprofit organizations with interests in education, the arts, and resource conservation.
She has a BA in Economics from Harvard College.
Away from the office, she enjoys taking on carpentry and sewing assignments, maintaining a practice in theatrical fabrication for shows on and off Broadway.
